Siamsinpawlpi, or SSPP in abbreviated form, is a students’ welfare organisation founded on the principle of philanthropy and volunteerism and formed upon the motto of LEARN, LABOUR AND SERVE. It endeavours to cater to the need of the, otherwise deprived, first generation learning community in order to create an educationally conducive and more enabling environment among the Paites in particular and its kindred communities in general.
The Organisation is headquartered at SSPP Complex, Siloam Veng, Bungmual, Lamka – 795006, Manipur. It has one General Headquarters, one Headquarters, four Joint Headquarters, eight Blocks, 20 Branches and 47 Units spreading across Manipur, various states of India and abroad. The Organisation also operates wherever its members reside. The core strength of the Organisation is its more than 380 Life Members, 3 Patrons and 1 Emeritus member.
Siamsinpawlpi is an organisation registered under the Society Act XXI of 1860 with Regd. No. 1107 of 1972, under Department of Social Welfare (Manipur) with Regd. No. 149 WCP of 1998 and under Ministry of Home Affairs (FCRA) with Regd. No. 194160049. It has an income tax exempted status u/s 12AA at F. No. 1546/12AA/CA/98-99. The Organisation actively engages in the welfare of students and partners with various government departments and non-governmental organisations towards the achievement of its objectives for inculcating curiosity, selfless effort and labouring for the welfare, education and development of the students and the community.
